It’s not just four years. It’s forever. In 1851 at Wesleyan Female College, Eugenia Tucker and her circle of friends established a tradition of excellence when they set out to unite college women in the bonds of sisterhood. This tradition of excellence lives on through our alumnae members, who through their involvement with collegiate chapters, alumnae associations, and the international organization, illustrate the principles upon which we were founded. Alpha Delta Pi is for a lifetime!

Are you an Epsilon Psi Alumnae?

Here is a message from sister Carmen Polpanich, who is looking to grow our Alumnae Association.

"The Upper Cumberland Alumnae Association (UCAA) is expanding its membership to include all Epsilon Psi members internationally. It's not a local association anymore. Many of us have been working this year to create an association to help celebrate our 50th later this year and help the chapter for long-term goals. We will send out communications via online forums and email.

Short term goal - Build up membership to support 50th anniversary and possibly a donation (like the bench for the 40th).

Long term goal - Yearly support to the chapter which will be based on polling the members interest (like paying for meals during recruitment, donations to Philanthropy events, etc)

How can you help?

1. Become a member. You will get information about what is going on in a timely manner.

2. Update your information on Pride Online to ensure that we pull your information correctly. The chapter and the association is in the process of finding lost sisters.

3. If anyone is interested in being an officer, we are open for business. Please contact me, Carmen Polpanich at adeepialum@yahoo.com.

Membership Dues - $20 per year - You can use this link for easy enrollment"

We strongly encourage you to join this association in order to stay connected with the Chapter and continue your membership as an Alpha Delta Pi!

Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN and The Saltbox Inn in Cookeville, TN

Tennessee Tech- New Hall North where Chapter Suite is located: 1 Golden Eagle Cir, Cookeville, TN 38505

The Saltbox Inn- where the Celebration Gala is happening: 537 Hutcheson Rd, Cookeville, TN 38506

Schedule for the Weekend:

Friday October 18th-

Take this night to enjoy time with your sisters as you all arrive in Cookeville for the weekend. We encourage you to meet up at your favorite dinner spot to have a relaxed and fun Friday night. It would be fun to get your Alpha Class together at the same spot to catch up and get the weekend started! Some great options of places to go would be Crawdaddys, Spankies, Char, Cinco Amigos, 7 Senses, and 37 Cedar but the choice is yours!

Saturday October 19th-

We will be offering Chapter Suite and Campus tours starting at 11:00 am. Everyone can plan to meet in the Chapter Suite first, where a tour guide will be waiting to take groups when they are ready! We will have lunch and refreshments provided for you. Additionally, we will be offering Jewell Degree ceremonies before and after the tours. Times and details for those ceremonies are TBA.

Attire- We encourage you to wear comfortable clothes for the suite and campus tours, however it would be fun to wear Tech gear or a favorite ADPi piece! Comfy shoes will be a must if you want to explore campus!

The Gala will begin at 6:00 pm at the Salt Box Inn. There will be a program for the evening upon arrival. Dinner will be provided and a cash bar with beer and wine will be available for purchase. We will have desserts, a silent auction, fun goodies, a memorial service, 10 and 25 year as well as Diamond Circle ceremonies throughout the evening. There will be a photo booth, DJ, and special surprises! It is sure to be a great evening celebrating our beloved Epsilon Psi Chapter!

Attire- There is no set attire for this event, but formal/cocktail attire would be what we suggest! It isn't about what we wear that will make the night special, so have fun with it and go as formal, elegant, or simple as you would like. For reference, most collegians will probably wear long dresses for this event.

Sunday October 20th-

While many of you will have to hit the road to head back to your families or get ready for work on Monday, we wanted to offer one final event for the memorable weekend. We welcome you to gather for brunch at 37 Cedar located on the West Side in Downtown Cookeville with your sisters for one last meal together. After a long night of fun, this will be a great way to end the weekend. Specific times and details will follow.

Other Important Information:

Pictures- The planning committee for this event is looking to gather as many pictures as possible for this event. If you have even a few photos you would be willing to share, we would be so grateful! Please email them to our event email at > epsilonpsi50th@gmail.com <

Lodging and Travel Info- The planning committee did not reserve a room block at any hotel due to the possibility of not filling one. However, we would like to share some options sisters have shared with us.

Fairfield Inn & Suites- Sister Rebecca Pelot Cherry has reserved a room block here and the rate is $97 per night. She has reserved rooms with double queen beds for sisters to potentially share rooms if you would like! Please email the event email if you have any question about this option!

Hampton Inn- Through the Alumnae Facebook group, we are aware of several sisters staying at the Hampton Inn. It has been renovated recently and is located on Interstate Drive, right of the interstate and less than a 10 minute drive to campus!

If you are uncertain where to stay, we encourage you to reach out to your friends who will be attending and ask them where they are staying!

What does the ticket price include?:

The $50 ticket price includes the following-

- Lunch provided in the Suite during the Suite and campus tours

- 50th Anniversary t-shirt for the event

- Dinner at the celebration gala

- DJ and Photo Booth

- Other commemorative items for you to take home from the event!

We hope this information finds each sister well, and we encourage you to attend this milestone event for our beloved Chapter! Please do not hesitate to contact sister Sarah Bundy, Director of Social Enrichment, at epsilonpsisocialchair@gmail.com or our event email epsilonpsi50th@gmail.com . We look forward to seeing you this fall!
